Details about the 2012 banquet: The banquet was on October 24, 2011 at the Tukwila Community Center. We started at 5:00 with dinner shortly after that. Volunteers were requested to show up at 4:00 pm to help set up decorations and assist John with food set-up. The presentation followed, and as always there were fantastic door prizes and good company. Your Banquet Chairman this year was Terry Kamm. Terry was requested by the Executive Committee to step forward to help out. The theme for this year’s banquet was “49ers”. John Enges provided a phenomenal menu including appetizers, entrée and dessert. Menu included some of the following: lasagna, chicken lasagna, red hook brats, marina sauce and krauts, Caesar salad, French bread, fruit platter, shrimp tray, cake, and drinks. We had a really great speaker as well. Addison Pemberton operates a restoration facility at Felts Felid in Spokane. One aircraft that has been restored is a Boeing 40C. You can read about Mr. Pemberton in the September newsletter, or see the story below. In support of the economy, we kept the cost at just $10.00 per person.
